Harvard Library’s Copyright First Responders and the Library Innovation Lab have won the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation’s Knight News Challenge on Libraries Prototype Award for their collaborative project, “Can I Fair Use It? Crowdsourcing Fair Use Knowledge.”

Harvard Library is pleased to announce the release of a significant set of upgrades to the Class Request Tool (CRT), an open-source application with broad utility to archives and special collections with active teaching programs.

A new simplified search box will be coming to the Harvard Library website on June 9. The current search widget, implemented nearly four years ago, allows users to select from nine resource types and links to over 50 e-resources. The new search tool will consist of a single HOLLIS+ Everything search box, along with a link to HOLLIS+ Advanced Search.

Library Technology Services has implemented a solution to resolve recent issues with Google Scholar.
